1.1 And so it begins

I’ve made you wait long enough..on with the story..

When we left off, Aveline and Xander welcomed the newest Bouvier: a bouncing baby girl, Camille.

Bienvenue Camille!

You may be wondering why the repair lady is holding Camille..I asked myself the same question. I think she just wanted some face time. Anyway, Aveline needed to learn 50 traits, so I gave her the Observant reward and sent her off to chat to Tuesday (yes that’s the repair lady’s name).

Sometime between Camille’s birth and her toddler birthday, Xander got promoted to Cutpurse, and Aveline got promoted to Corporate Drone.

And then it was Camille’s toddler-fication time.

“Xander, why are you laughing at our daughter?”

And here she is all toddler-fied. Unfortunately she inherited a lot of Xander’s genes. They are going to take a few generations to breed out je pense.

Anyway, her traits are virtuoso and artistic. I intend for her to be a Master of the Arts.

Despite his earlier behaviour, Xander proved to be quite the attentive father.

“Come to daddy, precious”

He taught her to walk, and to use a potty.

“I’m going to keep this one for her twenty-first, he he”

Xander, that’s not very nice!

Which reminds me, at this point Xander was given a midlife crisis. His new traits are daredevil, hot-headed, kleptomaniac, athletic, mooch. Yes some of them are the same, I only changed a few.

He also got promoted to thug.

Meanwhile, Aveline continued with Camille’s skilling.

“And then mummy invited her boss over and asked for a promotion”

“Now mummy earns more money”

“Money”

*Gasp*

Incase you didn’t notice, Aveline’s pregnant. She soon gave birth to another little girl, Lucie.

I’ve never had such terrible nooboos, I felt sorry for Aveline and Xander. These girls cried incessantly. I suspect both have hidden hot-headed traits (thanks Xander), and I hoped Lucie would grow out of it as a toddler.

Lucie has a mixture of her parents’ hair colour, and like her sister, inherited Xander’s nose and mouth. Lucie is a clumsy artist, and will be a Professional Author.

Xander missed Lucie’s toddler-fication as he was busy getting arrested.

I wish I had taken a snapshot of this dialogue box, but you’ll just have to believe me when it said “We will be confiscating all of your belongings, we wouldn’t want the other inmates being jealous of your Committment Issues“.

The next day was Camille’s child birthday. Aveline and Xander invited over their bosses.

Camille added perfectionist to her list of traits, and was sent straight to the easel.

Aveline took advantage of Nick’s presence and got promoted to Department Head. Xander too took advantage of his boss and got promoted to getaway driver.

The next day after work Aveline celebrated her transition to adulthood with another promotion, this time to Division Manager (thanks Nick!).

Meanwhile, both parents were trying to get Lucie skilled.

“Mummy wants a cuddle Lucie, just two more steps”

When they weren’t helping Lucie, Aveline and Xander kept working on their own skills.

That’s right Xander, I want to see some sweat!

Incase you didn’t notice before, Aveline was pregnant again. She soon went into labour..

Aveline gave birth to a little boy, il s’appelle Olivier.

It was also Lucie’s turn to twirl into childhood.

Lucie added hates the outdoors to her list of traits, and straight away made her way to the family computer to start on her first novel.

She called it “Dishes Everywhere: Origins of a Nightmare” – appropriate yes?!
